Krissee and Daniel (Mom and Dad) had met each other countless times, but while always pleasant to each other, they said their hellos and went on about their business.All that changed on September 18,2004, when they were forced to spend a few hours together at a Carolina football game.
You see, Daniel was already fairly well known to Krissee due to his work on his personal blog. Krissee had developed what one might call an "online crush." Daniel already had a real life crush on Krissee, but she only had eyes for "Uncle Sean" (isn't it funny how it all works out!)
All that changed during the football game. Jokes were made. Football was ignored. Daniel let the night get away without summoning the courage to get her phone number, but an email later to Amber (Carter's mom) and the wheels were set in motion.
Fast forward 2 years.

That was the greatest football game ever! I'm glad you posted that picture so I can save for myself now. I think it's also important to mention that Krissee's middle name was 'Day' and when she met Daniel to find out his last name was 'Day' we knew it was a pretty perfect match! My kids are soooo going to call her 'Aunt Day Day' =)
