That picture behind the bed sure is nice...

The weekend trip to the Columbia Hilton was a rousing success. Due to work travel, I'm a gold member of Hilton's travel club (its no diamond member level, but I mean, we don't all LIVE in hotels!). They certainly took care of us and even managed to get us reservations to the Ruth's Chris on the premises (which was good good).

The highlight of the stay occurred on Sunday morning while we're in the elevator on the way to breakfast. When the elevator stopped on our floor for us to get on, there was a little boy on there with an adult (the boy was 3-4 years old).

We get on, and the little boy points his finger at Krissee's belly and exclaims "What you got in there?" The words themselves just don't convey the funniness of the situation. The attitude was a cross between "You look like you're going to pop and I want to know what is getting ready to ooze all over me." and "You've stuck something in your belly that belongs to the hotel and I'm telling because my Daddy told me that you shouldn't steal!"

Krissee explains to him that there are two babies in there, and he seemed to understand.

Since then, I've been fond of pointing at her and exclaiminig "What you got in there?"

Wow, that is a pretty hilarious! I bet Krissee felt like oozing on him a little bit after those discreet comments! =)

We missed you guys a LOT this weekend!

Ah...the innocence of childhood. You know that when you got off that elevator, he turned and looked at his own adult and said, "Maybe we should tell the police. That lady ate some babies!"

That's right Jenn, and too bad she didn't get to tell him she ate Happy Meals!

We are all just waiting, waiting, every time the phone rings we rush to see the caller ID. When friends or family call, the first question is "Are the babies here yet?" Like the whole world is not gonna hear from me when they arrive.
