Vice presidents ain't got nothin' on us

Everyone check out the below post of the twin's first visit from Carter. While I had the time, energy, and idea, I wanted to go ahead and post this entry as well. See....a dry spell for a few days, and then presto, two entries in one day. You never know what you're going to get here at the Smith and Addison Day show. Consider this entry a very special episode!

First off, an incredibly sweet picture of my baby girl. I include it only because I had one extra picture of Smith in this entry and we want to make things as fair as possible (at least now!)

There is a big debate raging currently in the Day household, and the only way to settle it is to pose it to the masses,

Which is cuter...socks and hats or no socks and hats (we mean in general terms, not these pictures specifically). Bonus points if you can identify the correct parent with their opinion.

(he looks like such a little gangster in this picture.)

For some reason I am not able to view the pics?!

Can you guess who's freaking OUT about this????????? ahhhhhhhh!!!

I can't see the pictures either, Heather! Boo hoo! I am sure Daniel is going to say we are doing something wrong!! ;-)
As for the socks and hat deal -- hmmmm, that's a tough one! I am going to say that KD says matching hat/socks and DD says no matchy matchy. Am I wrong?

Okay, okay -- I got the pics and they are ADORABLE!!
A few things:
I love the pillow!
I like them with no hats on. :-)
Keep em coming, Daniel Day!

FINALLY!! Well, I must agree with Ashley first...I think the pillow should travel as their backdrop everywhere they go.

Usually, I love babies in matching hats (even when I was visiting I couldn't wait to put their hats on for some reason??) but in these pictures I think they are way precious without their hats. Love them and can't WAIT to see them...only 2 more days till I see the Days!

No hats, no socks...you're just hiding their natural beauty. And it's not cold outside. My guess = KD likes dressing 'em up.

Bare feet are so much more kissable.

ok....i will have to say that the gangsta picture IS pretty cute, but they are probably warmer with their hat and socks on.

but they are pretty adorable either way you slice it!

I am going to have to go with Socks and Hats :) Krissee- i think that is all you. They are sooo precious and I can't wait to meet them! They will have a lil playmate soon!

i don't think you can do anything to make them less cute... my preference is more of a compromise, yes to socks, no to hats! can't cover up those sweet little baby heads (unless they're outside in the wind/cold). but i think baby socks are the cutest thing in the world...

can't wait to meet them tonight!

Since Benson is almost 1 and walking, and I JUST bought his first pair of shoes...my vote is sans socks and hats. I LOVE bare footed babies! But these two are so cute you could dress them in brown paper bags and they'd still be adorable. I love keeping up with you guys on the blog. Keep it coming. By the way, I with the masses on the adoration for the pillow! :)

adorable! i like them without the hats and socks! But in a little while, they wont keep the hats and socks on for longer than 2 minutes! Illian and Angelina cant stand anything on their head or feet! So you may want to dress them up with the matching hats and socks while you can!

I like no hats and socks- can see more of them. Plus, I'm a sucker for baby toes. hee hee!
Daniel, I'm voting that you are not for hats and socks too.
